Catholicism and the influence it has on Christianity.

If you thought this post was a comparison between Christianity and Catholicism, well then I’m sorry. The reason for this post is to show the influence that Catholicism had and/or has on that we practice as Christianity today as I have observed on the journey that Yahweh has sent me on. As I travel this road, I come across people “followers” that time after time insist that what they are doing is right. It seems strange to me that what was right and true for the Messiah is no longer right. Strange times we live in, a strange way we practice religion and believe we are saved. What happened to Faith and the Good News that was once Christianity.

Where do I start? For those of you that have studied the beginnings of Christianity, probably know that the Messiah was born, lived and died a Jew. So why do we practice a religion that has done everything possible to distance itself from Judaism as far as possible. That’s right separation from what the Messiah was to become what we are today. I know many of you do not believe what I’m saying but look at the facts:

  1. We celebrate holidays that are not found in the Word.
  2. We go to church on the first day of the week, not the last.
  3. We have renamed the most important persons in the Word.
  4. We have removed the Fathers name altogether.
  5. We have rewritten many verses in the Word.

These are just a few of the revelations that YHVH has shown me as I travel this road, and I’m sure that these are just the beginning. I do want to clarify something before I go on, I am not a scalar of theology, I am a follower of Yahshua Messiah, nothing more. So here goes..

The so-called Christian Holidays:

I have looked in several versions of the Word and I have yet to find any reference to what we today celebrate as Christian holidays. There is not one scripture that I have found to authorize a follower of the Messiah to celebrate any of them. But when I researched the origins of these holidays I was astonished. They all have pagan roots, that’s right even Christmas and Easter. So why, why do we celebrate pagan holidays? There are many scriptures that prohibit these actions, yet churches and Christians alike celebrate them. Preachers teach them. Yet the Messiah DID NOT, so why do followers of the Messiah? It should make you wonder who is leading us and who are we following.

Going to church on the first day of the week?

That’s right Sunday is the first day of the week not the last. If you don’t believe me look at your calendar, what is the day that is on the left side, Sunday. Sunday was designated as the day of worship by Constantine, circa 300 A.D., not the Word. The sanctified day of worship was described in Genesis.

2 And on the seventh day Elohim completed His work which He had made. And He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made. 3 And Elohim blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because He rested from all His work on it, which Elohim had created to make.
(HRB Genesis 2:2-3)

Not by a pagan emperor that became pope. That’s right, Constantine separated the Jew from the Christian and organized Christianity according to the Roman Empire not the Word of Yahweh. this goes totally against the teachings of Yahshua Messiah, who taught his disciples to unite the Jews and the Gentiles, not separate the two.

We have renamed the most important persons in the Word.

Okay, you may ask what is he talking about, well here goes. Let’s start with the name of the Father, his name was not only changed but dropped. First, the Fathers name is not G-d, it is Yah Yahweh or Yahweh. Second, the Messiahs name has never been, or is, or never will be J-sus. Many people say the name came from the Greek (Ιησους) meaning Joshua or Josh in English, but the Messiah was not Greek and a Hebrew would not give his child a Greek name. Third, the Messiahs mother’s name, Mary, that is a Roman name, her real name is Mariam. What about the Messiahs earthly father, Joseph, again was changed from Yosef… And by the way, the letter “J” does not exist in Ancient Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek or Latin, and did not exist in the English language until sometime around the 1580’s…

We have rewritten many verses in the Word.

I guess the authors of the modern day Bibles, we use today, forgot the last verse in all the bibles that I have come across…

And if anyone takes away from the Words of the Book of this prophecy, YAHWEH will  take away his part from the Book of Life, and out of the holy city, and of the things  having been written in this Book.

(HRB Revelation 22:19)

The above verse is very clear, DO NOT MESS WITH YAHWEH’S WORD. The main reason I bring this up that by changing or rewriting verses, the meaning has changed. Also so versions add verses, this is to make the meaning of the verses easier to understand for modern day Christians. Really, as far as I know, we today are far more educated the first century people, we are the highest educated people that have ever walked the earth, so why do we need the Word of Yahweh “dumbed down” for us to understand?
